Tom YoungTom Young was born in Bosoton Ma in 1951. Young went to Rhode Island School of Design in Providene, Rhode Island, MFA - Photography 1977. He also went to Goddard College, Plainfield, Vermont, BA - Photography, 1973.

David Torcoletti 
David Torcoletti was born in Leominster, MA in 1957. A friend got him into photography, he showed him the darkroom. He went to Rhode Island School of Photography and a trade school for training professional photographers. Then after 2 years he transferred to Ohio University as photography major. After graduating he  found a job as a photography teacher at Northfield Mount Hermon School.And he had that job for 14 years.

         Michael Carroll

Michael Carroll is an American Photographer. He made a documentary called Hand Held. This documentary was about his journey to Romania and to see if the talk about the orphanages were true, also it was what he saw and had to witnessed there on his journey to this place. And when  he went to Romania to see if all the talk about the orphanage there were true they were.  Michael Carroll is the founder of the Romanian Relief Fund of 1990. This fund was to help the children in the orphanage with HIV/AIDS. This founded organization helped provide all the needed supplies for these chilren like medicine, clothing and food.

Post assessment
2. I evaluated this assignment by getting myself to jump in the air will my partner took the picture. I was looking to create photos that are of people in motion like jumping in the air.
4. What I like best about my images is how cool they look of me jumping in the air off of a rock wall. 
5. I did not have trouble with this assignment.

Aritist of the week

Alfred Stieglitz:
Alfred Stieglitz was an American photographer and modern art promoter who was instrumental over his fifty-year career in making photography an accepted art form. Stieglitz was born January 1, 1864, Hoboken, NJ.And he died July 13, 1946, New York City, NY.His wife's name was Georgia O'Keeffe.These are the names of a couple of his pieces The Steerage, The Hand of Man,The City of Ambition. 
   

Ansel Adams:
His full name was Ansel Easton Adams.And Ansel Adams was an American photographer and environmentalist. His black-and-white landscape photographs of the American West, especially one of Yosemite National Park,it has been widely reproduced on calendars, posters, and in books. Adams was born February 20, 1902, San Francisco, CA.And he died April 22, 1984, Monterey, CA.Some of the work he did was called Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico.
