Paul Strand was an American photographer and filmmaker who, along
with fellow modernist photographers like Alfred Stieglitz and Edward
Weston, helped establish photography as an art form in the 20th century. He was born October 16, 1890 in New York City. He died March 31, 1976 in Paris, France. Some Famous artwork he did was Wall street, The court, New York, Driftwood, Maine.
Edward Sheriff Curtis was an ethnologist and photographer of the American West and of Native American peoples. Curtis was born February 16,1868 in Whitewater, WI. He died October 19,1952 in Los Angeles, CA. Curtis also made movies, they were In the Land of The Head Hunters and The Ten Commandments. Curtis had a wife and her name was Clara Phillips. His sibling's name was Asahel Curtis.
